This week’s Shop is the lovely Phoenvix run by the equally lovely Carrie. When she’s not being a legal eagle Carrie creates beaded jewellery and accessories. She’s also an artist and there’s a few of her drawing in her shop, with more to come in the future. Here’s some of my favourites.

So are you the kind of person who buys all their Christmas presents in July or the sort that’s running around on Christmas Eve wondering what to get? Me, I’m the later, unfortunately. But this year I’ve decided to get organised. And if you to want to beat the rush and get your presents ahead of time, why not do it now? Here’s some of my jewellery all ready and waiting, and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your sofa!

Probably one of my favourite pieces Amethyst and silver heart necklace which has matching earrings.

it’s a cute Silver caterpillar necklace of course

Merry almost Christmas in July!

A whole range of crafty goodness goes into Merry Go Round UK,  this week’s shop, run by Julia in York. There’s knitted and crocheted items, jewellery, hair accessories, bookmarks, decorations and some supplies too. It’s true that if you want something done you should ask a busy person, and Julia’s certainly a busy lady, her shop is just one part of her life. Here’s a selection of some of my favourites from the shop.

Some patriotic red, white and blue button magnets.

Red, White and Blue Button Magnets: patriotic button magnets, plastic / acrylic buttons mix, set of 6

A cowl and gloves set in cool shades of blue and purple.

Cowl & Gloves Set: blue, purple, green, indigo marble cowl and fingerless gloves

And a jolly citrus wreath to brighten up a small spot.

Citrus Micro Wreath : cute, tiny yarn wreath with mixed buttons, lime green, yellow and orange, with hanging ribbon

As well as Merry Go Round, Julia also has a supplies shop called CarouselUK. You can read an interview with her here, and visit the shop here.

This week I have mostly been trying to find a nice new second-hand bike, and thinking about selling mine, so of course this week’s collection had to be bicycles!
