Here’s some of my jewellery all ready and waiting, and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your sofa!

In Muntjac Vintage you’ll find vintage housewares and collectables, and in imynda Nadine’s own handmade crochet and amigurumi accessories and supplies. Here’s a couple of things from both shops.

The natural world is the inspiration for this week’s shop, KitzieG, run by Laura. You’ll find magnets, mirrors, postcards, posters, prints and greetings cards with KitzieG’s distinctive, pretty botanical prints. Laura creates paper cuts of plants and flowers, and uses the shapes to great and colourful effect. Here’s a few of my favourite things.

A whole range of crafty goodness goes into Merry Go Round UK,  this week’s shop, run by Julia in York. There’s knitted and crocheted items, jewellery, hair accessories, bookmarks, decorations and some supplies too. It’s true that if you want something done you should ask a busy person, and Julia’s certainly a busy lady, her shop is just one part of her life. Here’s a selection of some of my favourites from the shop.

Some patriotic red, white and blue button magnets.

Red, White and Blue Button Magnets: patriotic button magnets, plastic / acrylic buttons mix, set of 6

A cowl and gloves set in cool shades of blue and purple.

Cowl & Gloves Set: blue, purple, green, indigo marble cowl and fingerless gloves

You’d better get over to this week’s shop quick, the Shop of the Week promotion is going so well Carrie’s almost sold out! And it’s not surprising, the Natural Bathing Co makes lovely soaps, lip balms and bath bombs from natural ingredients. Here’s a selection: firstly organic dragonsblood soap. Don’t worry no dragons are harmed in the making of this soap, it’s a mixture patchouli, vanilla, rose absolute, orange and jasmine.

Now how can I resist, chocolate lip balm. It’s made of cocoa flavourings, natural yellow beeswax, sweet almond oil, and shea butter.

My Small World is this week’s shop and it’s the small world of Katie in Chester. I’ve already learnt two things from her shop, the first is freemotion embroidery, which is freehand embroidery on the machine. It’s a lovely flowing style which Katie uses on felt patches.

As well as felt patches Katie’s shop is full of  handmade bears, sewing cases, card cases, brooches, button badges and jewellery.  Here are some of my favourite things, a felt owl brooch…

Hand made red and green felt and fabric owl brooch

Meet Alfie, a handmade mohair bear with just one twin brother, he’s a unique and cute bear.

and finally, because I love sakura, a scrabble tile necklace with Japanese blossom.

Japanese cherry blossom. Glazed Scrabble tile pendant, with handmade ribbon necklace.

The other thing I’ve learnt is about Blythe dolls, which are Katie’s passion, and she also has Blythe accessories in her shop. Visit her shop here, and learn more about Blythe dolls and read an interview with Katie here, on the Craft Britannia blog.
